My recent stay at Palais Cathare was an absolute delight. The hospitality extended by Francis, the owner and barman, was exceptional. His musical talents added a special touch to our evening at the bar, creating a lively and memorable atmosphere.The hotel's amenities, including the seasonal outdoor pool and sauna, provided the perfect opportunity to unwind and relax after a day of exploring the nearby attractions such as the Gorge de Frau and Montsegur. The free WiFi throughout the property was convenient for staying connected, and the on-site restaurant offered delicious meals served promptly.Our rooms were beautifully appointed, with thoughtful details like soundproofing for a peaceful night's sleep. The double room with a balcony was a lovely retreat, offering garden views and a private entrance. The pet amenities available were a nice touch, catering to all guests' needs.The shared lounge and terrace were inviting spaces to connect with fellow travelers, and the tour/ticket assistance provided by the hotel made it easy to discover the local area. I highly recommend this charming hotel to anyone seeking a unique and welcoming stay in the Pyrenees region.
